DR. JENNIFER LYNN WAGNER

Dr. Jennifer Wagner on Rundle Street in Adelaide, AustraliaI earned my PhD in Linguistics at the University of South Australia in 2015, where I taught introductory French and linguistics courses in the multimedia laboratory and online. I previously taught English as a Second Language in France and the United States, worked as a Student Success and Writing Center tutor for undergraduate students, and was the assistant editor of an academic journal. I have been the e-learning developer of ielanguages.com, a free language learning website, for two decades.

I completed certificates in E-Learning Instructional Design and Geographic Information Systems as well as an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems while working in the IT department at Mott Community College. As of 2020, I am a full-time Instructional Technologist in the IT - Educational Technology department at Michigan State University where I help improve course design by integrating technology and accessibility, while offering technical support and training for all instructors and students.

Most recently, I have been experimenting with JavaScript by creating interactive knowledge checks and Google scripts to aid with course design and student engagement.
